its called front pipe carrier when you look it up. for my 2000es450. i call it the front bumper. anywho, it was bent some when i got atv, i think i might have bent it some more, when going through that field, with the tall grass an getting stopped by the front grader blade hidden in the grass, lucky i was just going a bit over 20mph. it was a good thing i got my atv from a farmer who only used it to check out where his cows where ,, v/s the old lady who only drove on sundays to go to church. never the less..
ive heard the best way to pull it back out is to put a chain to a tree, hook to the front, an back up with every thing bolted up at the bumper., to get it closer to what it was. i only want to pull it back out about a 1/4 inch or so. any ideals?? my plastics sat inside for a while, now they quite dont fit. being old and brittle, i understand:smile, in my own way. a good trip to the chiropractor might help me, not so sure what to do with that plastic fit on the atv. //just ed

I would chain the rear of the bike to a truck or tree , put a nylon strap around the bar where it needs to be pulled out , hook a come-a-long or even a winch from another atv and pull it out a little at a time , don't go to far as you might have to go and hit something again to get it back in -----I have a few of them 450 racks laying round the yard , come on over , get you one and have a beer or two and shoot the bull , you know what else I have for that 450 , 3 winch plates and about anything else you might ever need for a 450

fish; if ever i get down that way, id gladly come over an drink a beer or so with ya, step in the bs.
that sounds like a plan with atv front bumper. i got enough spinal problems, without hooking a chain on the front an riding backwards, till the sudden stop.lol i wasnt looking forward to that..
i may just take you up on some parts if shipping prices aint too bad. i coulda responded earlier to this thread cept, i couldnt remember where i posted, though i was sure that i did. i tried the search function, with "bumper" as the keyword without results.
it was a cinnamon night when i posted lol

I straightened mine with some lumber and a rubber mallet; I took it off first.
I have been thinking about having a resto shop weld in some new tubes. I don’t weld and don’t mind paying someone with the skills to gitrdun proper
