I just took my spare 350D frame to the scrap yard yesterday. Not ready to clutter up my garage again just yet

Wish you were closer to East Arkansas. Last 2-3 I've bought have looked similar, but I've gotten them for $40-50 (mainly because they had complete engines).

Gas would eat me alive driving all the way to Arkadelphia. I appreciate the offer though!

Yeah I hope someone can get some use out of it. It actually did run when I brought it home! Not very well or very long of course, but I was surprised. It has a pretty nasty head leak, but the engine should be sound with a lot of TLC.

Not to mention the rear bumper on it!
BUT...... I won't be passing through Arkansans till at least next month when I head to Louisiana to see my Folks again
If its still around then id love to stop by and pick it up on my way through
I might even find a gas tank ny then and have the old beast running again

Of course if it's gone by then I'll understand but if not I have a good home for it

Actually I did pull off the wiring harness and all electronics. I'm going to part them out since they won't work on the DC (?) '86.

Got the CDI, coil, regulator/rectifier, and the harness minus the wires that go into the engine (neutral indicator and oil temp?)

The engines are a bit different, but I bet most of the parts are interchangeable. If I still have it when you drive through, it's yours, but I had hoped to get rid of it quick!

I didn't dig into the differences in engines too much, since I didn't plan on keeping it. The left side crankcase design (starter?) and the kickstart pressure relief mechanism are different, but everything is the same shape and size so trans/clutch/topend is probably the same?

I don't plan on doing any other trx350's, soooooooooo..first come, first to grab it, i'll pass. my '89 will out live me, sooooooooooo..no need in doing anymore. thanks for the offers though .

Because that underlined part isn't true!

I've got one apart and cleaned out, just have to put it back together now. Have the covers off the 2nd motor so I can use it for reference.

This is the first sideways motor I've worked on, so things are a little different.
