Will the disconnect kit designed for the 93 work on a 92? Are there any differences on the drive between the 2

Hey Ed do you have a 92 TRX350 or a TRX300?

Are you asking about the 424 kit that disconnects the front drive? Several of the members here have them and similar, so they’ll probably chime in after they know what model you have.

Sofar as I know, there’s no kit for the TRX350.

goober is correct, as far as I know as well, there was never a disconnect kit for the trx350's old school or new ranchers.

No , a 92 down is considered a 1st gen 300 , they have a longer front drive shaft by about 2 inches , 93-2000 works for the 4x2 right out the box , a 4x2 can be modified by welding and extending the drive shaft , there are builders that will do this for you , it usually goes for about $550-600 for the new 4x2 and the work to extend it

first we need to understand wth he has ??..he list the post as a 1992 trx350 rancher ?. honda did not make the trx350 ranchers until 2000 as far as I know ?, maybe this is another Canada thing ??. and no, the trx350 ranchers never had a disconnect that I am aware of ??.

I think the way Wide Open 424's are classified are : the 300 is a DS3000 93-2000 , the 350 is a DS3500 , the 450 is a DS4500 98-2001 and the 500 is a DS 5000 , I don't remember the years of the 350 and the 500
