Yeah, I agree. It sounds like a carb problem.
I'll try to get a more thorough cleaning done again, the only challenge I see is the connection of the choke cable at the carb and how to disconnect it at the carb. thanks again
Just use a wrench to unscrew the choke cable and it pulls out with the start enrichment valve on the end of the cable.

I am trying to get my choke cable off and the choke valve and seat seems to be stuck in the carb. I can unscrew the plastic nut but the assembly wont come out, how the heck can I get it out now ive tried soaking it with wd40 but doesnt seem to be doing anything has anyone had this problem?
Welcome to the forums. Lots of people have had that problem. You can take the cable loose from the valve and try drilling a small hole down through the top of the valve. Then, screw a screw down into the hole so that the threads cut into the valve. Then clamp ViseGrips on the head of the screw and pull the valve out. Of course, you will have to replace the valve.
I cant disconnect the cable from inside the carb there is no free play what should I do cut it and start drilling?
You should be able to pull hard on the cable and the end of the cable should slip out. The tip of the valve is made of brass and it should just break off where the cable hooks. Sometimes, the cable will just pull out and not even break the end off. You will have to replace the valve anyway, so it won't matter if it breaks. I believe that choke valve (starter enrichment valve) runs around $35.

By the way nice wheeler in your profile pic.
Thanks.
