Live in a rural area? You may avoid problems if you block the air intake area of your toys. I have a Honda trx300 that when I purchased it had mice living in it everywhere. When I fixed it up I took some 1/4 inch mesh hardware cloth and blocked the intake holes to the air box in the frame. I just cut a piece oversize and bend the edges back and forth to fit to hold it to the hole. I have done the same thing for years with my snowmobiles, snowplow and other motorized units that sit a lot. It keeps the mice from building nests in the air box or air cleaner.
