I saw the old post but nothing ever happened with it and the op never followed up. So i ordered all the headlight parts and i know it will be a direct fit. I can only assume the they didn't change the steering stem where the light/dash mounts and the additional bolt on mount is the same part number. i ordered the foreman headlight/kill switch because the third headlight plug is attached to it. I ordered it for a fm1 foreman as i have a fm1 rancher. The parts are coming in tomorrow and I'm getting kind of antsy. Would the foreman wiring harness be the same? I'm wondering if the plug will be the same where the light switch plugs into the wiring harness. Has anybody tried this yet? I'm going to know all the answers tomorrow but ill be at work all day wondering lol. I'll be sure to post the results either way so anybody who has been wondering will have the answer.

If it doesn't work I'll just wire it to the existing headlights but i like everything to be factory that's the reason i ordered the switch and didn't go the cheap wiring route.

The parts list

headlight lens-33150-HP0-A00
headlight adjuster nut-33117-KBR-730
headlight adjuster spring-33107-KAE-771
headlight adjuster washer-94103-04000
headlight adjuster screw-33103-KAE-770
meter cover-53206-HR4-A20ZA
meter cover stay/holder-53207-HR4-A20
headlight cover-red-53205-HR4-L20ZA-green-53205-HR4-L20ZC-white-53205-HR4-L20ZB (only Canadian colors)
honda emblem-86150-HN8-004 (couldnt get mine off without breaking it)
emblem clip-64206-MJ0-000
3x screws-93913-25380
2x clips-90653-HC4-900
2x rubber headlight grommet-53212-HP0-A00
foreman light switch for fm1 footshift-35150-HR4-622
foreman light switch for auto/electric shift-35140-HR6-A62

You can reuse the 3 10mm bolts holding your original meter cover to your handle bars and that's all you will need. i can't guarantee the auto/electric shift switch will work but the foot shift switch was a direct replacement. I can only assume the electric shift would be the same.

How about a parts list?
I'll second that notion. I have a 2017 that I'd like to do that to. What did all the parts end up costing?
I payed $267 canadian from my local canadian dealer. I priced it on partzilla and it came to around $140usd shipped to canada but im impatient and got it quicker from the dealer

Does the light stay on all the time when the main headlights are on? For some reason I thought it had a separate switch, but after looking at a Foreman owner's manual, the switch pod looks identical to my Rancher and I don't see any mention of a separate switch.

The light comes on with the high beams. The new start button has /OR printed on it beside the start emblem but I don’t know what it does.

I'm looking at doing this for a 2009 rancher AT, where did you start your research? It is ESP and I realize there might be a little more research involved. Also, this would be my first attempt at doing any work on a 4 wheeler.

I know it’s an old post and I’m new here but I ordered all of the parts for a 2019 Rancher trxfa6 irs with eps. Only concern I have is current draw but we shall see when the parts get here. At least we can verify if the es/dct works the same. The only difference I see in the schematics is fuse size and an extra tap coming off the high beam switch which feeds the center pod light.
