Have a 06 foreman 500. it runs good at idle and when driving. when wnd out in 3rd gear or 4th gearit shuts down like its running out of gas. let off the throttle and wait a few seconds and it will pick back up. As soon as you hit the higher rpms it will fall out again. I have checked everything i can think of. Carb is clean.Took petcock out of tank and cleaned it, Still acting like its runnig out of gas. Any suggestions????

i doubt the main jet is clogged, if this was the case..it would not even rev as high as he claims....in other words..if the main jet was stopped up..he wouldn't be able to rev it at all...sounds like a float issue..as he's ridding it..and it's burning fuel..when he gets to that 3rd or 4th gear..by then..it's already used up most if damn near all the gas from the carb..i would check the float..float needle.
