Hello, I have a 1999 Foreman 450ES.
Odometer and hours read all 9's.

I need to replace the part and everything is on national back order.
I have found out that these two part numbers are interchangeable, 37200-HN0-A61 same as 37200-HN0-A12.

Does anyone know if speedo from similar year 350es would work? p/n 37200-HN5-A12

Actually the 37200-HN0-A12 display is the only one that will fit your bike without modding. It is expensive... Have you checked with Partzilla yet? Megazip?

I read on another forum that someone put an A61 in place of an A12 and he confirmed it was the same, and half the price.

I have been trying everything i can, even though they parts listed online, they are actually back ordered and don't bother to tell you upfront. Megazip is inexcusably expensive.

any clue what difference between 350 and 450?

I just found one in Louisiana at a dealer!! It is the A61 p/n.

I would still like to know the difference between 350/450 speedo.

It looks like honda changes part numbers to drive up cost even though it may not change from one model year to the next (example would be A12 vs A61). even a service tech hinted at that. They don't have any way to cross reference different parts, you just have to physically test it out.

I don't know but I've always just assumed the displays were the same between the 350/450

I know this is an older thread, but did anyone ever come up with a good solution for a replacement for the speedometer? I have one that will not shift and everything else checks out good. Thanks

The speedometer will not make a difference when it comes to shifting or not.

could it be the speed sensor that is bad , causing it to both not shift and the speedo to not work --------


I have a question about the 450 dash , I have a guy texted me today who wants to buy one and he wants to know that it works , is there a way to power one up if it is already off the bike to see the display light up ?

i'm sure one of the pins must just supply 12VDC to the unit, but which one??? I'd check the service manual....
