Gents,
I'm in the middle of a front differential overhaul on a 98 Honda foreman 450. and need to replace the pinion needle bearing, The bearing is removed and everything is clean and ready for replacement. My problem is the new stopper ring, how in the heck do you get a new one installed? The new OEM ring I have is sprung open and there is no way to secure it in the grove while driving it in. Is there a sleeve for this? The honda tool looks just like a driver. Any help would be appreciated.
