Okay guys. Had my FMF Powercore 4 since December its loud but seems a lil quiet. Does the pipe come with the quiet core already installed into the pipe???Or is it just the way the pipe is???

I'm pretty sure they don't have a quiet core.Thats just how they are.

The 4.1 is louder. The 4 is the trail version with a spark arrestor so they keep the sound a bit lower, I think it is about 96-97db. The quiet core will drop it to about 94-95db. The 4.1 racing pipe is about 99-101db.

i know my hmf is loud but not annoyingly loud.i love it you can here me coming from a couple blocks.

I love my HMF...Extremely throaty but like you said, not annoying.

FMF Has a quiet core.for the powercore 4.i think there around 14 buck's.i run a Q4 with the quiet core and spark arrester removed.mainly because it run's better.it doesent really get loud till wide open throttle.

Yes its really meant to be loud coz its a performance muffler. but i believe you can fabricate a slip on silencer.
