Hi All.
I'm just getting ready to purchase my first ATV's--a pair of 2010 Rancher 4by4's with Power Steering (TRX420FPE). These will be for myself and my husband. For now we plan on riding them on BLM/Forest Service trails mostly--maybe someday when we own some land we'll use them there as well.

Curious to know what people think about the pricing we are being offered ($5800 each) and if you think they are a good choice for us. At the advice of some ATV-owning friends we looked at Can-Ams and Polaris today but I didn't see anything in either of those brands that would justify spending several thousand dollars more.

Thanks for any input you can offer. This is a whole new adventure for us!

that's damn good pricing...I paid 5800 for my TRX420FE (no power steering) with a winch.

Thats a very good price. What year are the bikes? I just purchased a 2010 420FM and paid 5800 plus ttl and crate cost and extended warranty. Looked at purchaseing another 420 2011 with Power steering and it listed for 6799.

They are 2010 models. The dealership I'm going to has a 2010 420FM listed for $5400 right now.

I am also a 1st time ATV owner. I am happy with my Honda Trail Edition 420 (2009) .You will love the power steering and how easy it is to get through tight spots where some bigger bikes wont go. Enjoy and good luck
