Hi all. Got a final drive question since I don't own a service manual YET. I just replaced an oil seal on what I believe I am correct in calling the final drive (the rear axle runs through it). I have an '04 Rancher 350es 2 wheel drive. What type of oil do I replace and how much? I am assuming it fills from the top until it starts running out the "oil check bolt". Any help is greatly appreciated.

Hypoid gear oil. SAE 80W. And yes, just fill it up until it is level with the oil fill hole. Make sure the ATV is sitting level.
