Hoping someone can help. I have a 2001 300ex with a slip on white brother’s exhaust. Since I purchased the quad used, I assume the carb has been rejetted for the exhaust. The white brother’s exhaust has had the spark arrestor removed.

I am looking at buying a new quiter exhaust. Will I have to rejet again for the new exhaust?

You can probably get away without rejetting but you just need to put one on and see.

Yeah, stock is a lot quieter. It also provides A LOT less power

I thought about the stock exhaust. I pulled the plug tonight and I am running really rich, my plug was black.

I think switching pipes will be fine.

Look online for a spark arrestor it will be cheaper However White brothers doesnot exhist any longer Vance Hines bought them out and the mufflers are not produced anymore Ebay may be your only hope. also pull the airbox lid and put in a new plug and try it I bet it leans it out .
