The Yoshi pipe is most likely better(depends on model). I doubt that the mounts will line up, mock it up and see what you can make work

Yoshi is probably the bettter pipe.If you have a welder and some fab skill you can make anything work.As for gains they will be minimal. If you open the airbox and jet it you will have much better gains.

Put it on and start the machine, if you have any bogs in the throttle you need to rejet. Or if you have a lot of backfiring on decelleration, you need to rejet.

my local honda tech just informed me there would not be enough backpressure and that I would never get it tuned correctly w/ either pipe. So I may pass on the deal but thank you guys for your help

I don't believe that, I have seen a guy put an exhaust off of a GSXR1000 on a 450. The 700's pipe is not going to be that much bigger.

ok not to drag this thread out any longer but how bout a pipe, head pipe and muffler, fmf, off of a 300ex? the way I understand it it is the same pipe assembly as mine. Pry easier to mount and dial in correct? and what is the possibility the same jets will work?
