Seems like I'm getting some excessive heat coming off the right side. More than usual. Oil level is good and the light has not come on but it just feels like an oven over there.

My brakes are not rubbing. I'm gonna pull the spark plug today and check it out. Any other ideas?

You didn't state the year of your Rancher or exactly where you're feeling this heat but I'll tell you a similar problem I had and hope this helps you. My 2014 Rancher 420FM had an exhaust leak. Here's the link to my post:
