Hi Everyone!

New guy here with a question I hope someone can answer. I am the happy owner of a 2008 TRX420FE Rancher without the electric power steering system. This was the model year that introduced the EPS to the Rancher line and I was hoping that it would be a simple drop-in modification to install that capability.

Since the ATV was manufactured to use this system I assume that the EPS components will bolt up pretty easily.

Has anyone out there swapped out their "standard" steering assembly with the EPS components? Was it fairly straight-forward. What all was involved?

Sorry I can help with your question but I will welcome you to the forums. We have several top notch guyes that know there stuff and may be able to help you out.

Welcome to the forums. I would say that it can be done, but I don't know what all it would involve. In addition to the power steering motor, you would also need the control unit and wiring and possibly other parts, but I'm not sure.

BTW, there's a company called "ATV Power Steering" that makes aftermarket power steering kits for certain models of ATVs and side by sides.
