Hi I’m from the U.K. and have just purchased a 78 Odyssey fl250 and want to put another engine in it,so was wondering if anyone can tell me a suitable replacement

There was a FL350 , don't know if the engines would swop ----------- there is a web site called Buggiesgonewild and there are engine swop projects , maybe you can find someone that has done it before or get some ideas , would bet you will have to modify what ever you do ,
