Has anyone ever put a FM model engine in to an IRS automatic frame was thinking if i changed the driveshaft and gear on shaft but never tried yet i want the irs but not the garbage auto shift getting irs is not cheap and I'm to cheap to buy it

Yes, Honda has. They even put an extra 55cc and a diff-lock in for you.

I saw a 420 footshift with IRS rear end for sale a few days ago. It can be done, but you swap out the whole rear subframe, diff, aarms, etc and have to make a custom rear driveshaft.

Yes all bolt on and u well need a custom drive shaft get in touch with Don oglesby on face book for the drive shaft
