Hello All,

I own a 2015 Honda foreman, Rubicon 4x4 automatic or manual shift, the engine light comes on then blinks 3 times, it runs fine for a few minutes then sputters, dies, backfires. It will start right up immediately, but runs fine for a few minutes then repeats the cycle. I can't find any info can anyone help me please. I hate to take it in unless I have to.

Are you sure there is only 3 blinks, no long then short blinks...?

The engine symbol lights up then blinks 3 times, then while driving it starts sputtering, but it's the same sequence the symbol comes on then blinks 3 times, over and over

You will have to look up what code 3 is in the service manual, not sure where it is, but its somewhere in the 689 pg manual.
