i am haveing a problem with my rancher. it has a dealer installed winch that worked fine until recently. now when you use the winch it makes the display shut off and if you continue useing it it shuts the bike off . it doesn't kill the battery as you can restart it right away no problem and the battery is still at full charge when tested . any help would be great thanks

Sounds to me like you have a short in the wiring. But someone else here may have a better answer

That may be the case here but you may have a bad relay too check for any chafed or wires missing the sheathing, also check your grounds from the winch, it may be possible that your winch motor is getting ready to take a dump too.
