If the Key is fully turned to the right, the electronics do not engage. I have to go all the way to the right then just a hair to the left for all the lights and electronics to engage. Anyone else have this problem? Where should I start?

Ordered an aftermarket starter. The OEM starter keeps giving me trouble, looks like leaking orings, because the copper brushes keep getting rusted. Just wondering if I should of bought a rebuild kit...I know aftermarket starters are known to poop out.

Just replace the ignition barrel, seems to me like the contacts inside are worn out. Try giving it a spray with contact cleaner or WD40, may do the trick. After market starter? Hmmm, be careful with aftermarket gear, OEM or known good brands are the best way forward.

I got the aftermarket starter in the mail yesterday, $30 delivered. It looks IDENTICAL to the one that was in there before, makes me wonder it the one in there was not OEM. Usually these aftermarket ones look a little different.

Popped it in and it fired right up. We'll see if it was worth the 30 bones.
