My '84 TRX200 had an on off switch on the gas cap. I've know and been riding this fourwheeler for over 30 years and never knew what it should be on. I've ran it with it set to off and on, with no difference in the way the machine ran.

If you run it in off it should create a vacuum in the fuel tank. If it doesn't then the seal is done.
