In putting new brake pads you have to have enough space for it. The piston should be pushed when install it.
I have seen this on just about every rear disc brake system I've worked on for ATVs, the bracket that is bolted to the caliper that holds it to the brake stay on the swingarm... Remove the allen head bolt make sure the bushing stayed in the caliper it will be obvious if it didn't you wil split on the smooth section of the bolt if it seized to it, remove it and clean it install it in the caliper . clean everything up and coat it with antiseize, if your pads are wearing uneven meaning the inside pad is wearing more than the outer? this is your problem. also wire wheel off the (2) 12mm pin bolts that hold the caliper and coat them as well. peoplet to do these simple task and end up posting threads asking "why don't my brakes work? lol This also appliesfor the front.
