Greetings,

I am looking for replacement cv axles for my 92 trx300fw. I see some on ebay for about a hundred dollars for the set of 2. Are these junk or are they pretty decent. I am not looking to do any rock climbing. Mostly taking me through flooded fields to get to my duck blinds and to drag the venison from the field to the truck. Other than that pretty light duty stuff.

Any suggestions?

I got my two front CV Axles for my 95' TRX300FW from East Lake Axles. Once thing I have noticed is the left CV Axle didn't seem to seal correctly? Granted I have never taken apart my front diff so there may be a seal to change. It is not a leak that will provide any drops on the ground, but I know there is some oil leaking when running. I just keep an eye on the oil level and it's fine.

I'm guessing the aftermarket CV Axle doesn't seal as well as an OEM or I need to open up the front diff and replace the seals.

I've been doing some pretty heavy work with the bike and they're holding up fine!

I've bought 2 or 3 sets from TheCVMan or something like that? on eBay. They work fine the only thing to watch for is that a lot of the cheap eBay axles for the 300's use a tripod style inner CV joint and it's basically impossible to find a replacement boot for one locally, you'd have to order it on eBay as well. Other than that they are fine and hold up great, I've ran them with 28x10's and never broke any.

Where ya killin birds duck? I'm almost done with my 300FW and heading down to Arkansas on the 4th of November to set all our sled blinds and get everything in camo. I got Rhino axles for mine, and installing Boss front bearings when I cange out axles, hopefully this week. I've never ran any of the Ebay ones, but see them all the time, just scared of em personally. That could be the difference between killing ducks and getting a wheeler outta tha field, ya never know!
