Was wondering if painting it may preserve it better and make it last longer
this rear axle ?, opss..I thought these were front axles..sorryAppreciate the info goober, I just received the last part of complete rear end rebuild and knew I had to do something with the axle b4 rust started in
black on front axles, as I said..i don't paint rear axles, unless they are exposed to air ?, which all mine are in tubes..soooo...lol.Yeah figured while it's out would b the best time to do so if needed..is there a clear coat or do I need to use a color
then clear coat it, with clear, it if wears off from chips, at least you won't see shinny when this takes place...lol.Yeah its rear axle on 300ex..I've had lots trouble out of rust with old axle..it pitted in some places pretty bad and didn't want new one looking like that in near future if possible
yw..any timeGood point...thanks man
