I recently replaced my digital screen on my 98 honda foreman and its not showing what speed im going or how many miles i have how do i fix it??

Which model 98 Foreman do you have? There are three: TRX450ES (electric shift), TRX450S (manual shift) or the TRX400FW? The meters are not interchangeable between the two 450 models is why I ask.
The 450s meter:

If you have the correct meter on it you may have a speed sensor issue or a bad connection.
