I'm a gear head but new to ATV's. recently purchased the 2002 350ES that needs a little bit of work
I was just wondering if the differentials are standard single drive or some type of posi or locking type?

The rear end on those older Honda's is actually a gear case, not a differential at all. Solid axle, same drive to both rear wheels. The front end is pretty basic afaik, nothing posi or locking up there, one wheel spin baby (especially when the rear axle splines are stripped)!!
