The Fa has an automatic transmission the Fe has essentially the manual transmission that is operated electronically with 2 buttons instead of a foot pedal.
Differences between FM and FA/FGA
Hi, just new to this forum, some good info and stories to be found. I was hoping some one here could tellme the difference between the 2005 TRX 500 FM and the 2005 TRX 500 FA/FGA. Im looking for a repair manual for my 05 FM model and keep finding FA/FGA ones. Is there a difference or will they do the job.

I don't think there is much difference between the 2. The TP sensor is mounted slightly different but works fine and the price is different. I'm sure you'll have no problem using it.I ordered a new carburetor for my 2009 Honda foreman and noticed i got the fa one and i have a fe wanted to know what the difference is and if it matters?
