Hi. I have a two wheel drive Honda big red.and I was just wondering if the diff should be on all the time.the two back wheels are always moving !

People call the rear ends on these "differentials", but in reality they are not actual differentials and are just basic final drives in the rear. That's whether you have a 1984 ATC or a 2019 Foreman.

Look at a parts diagram and you'll see a solid straight axle going right through the final drive unit.
