I was doing my yearly mantenence and got into the air cleaner box to discover a mouse had a field day on the foam element. also lots of nest material was up under the trim covers on either side of gas tank AND fuse for lights blows so they likely had some wire insulation or the mouse piss ate at some wires. I got some fresh cab mouse repellent sachets and put one in the air cleaner box, and one under the trim covers as voila! no more mice! Now onto finding the short!

2005 TRX500 Foreman Rubicon-tough as nails. Dropped a tree on it, rolled it. mainly use it for plowing and logging. Fun workhorse!

You can buy this stuff called Rodentstopper it’s a really pungent flower fragrance than seem to drive them away. I use it on my side of a shared warehouse and the shop next door always complain about mice in their equipment but not me.

What are you using for “mouse repellent sachets”?

Try moth balls, they stink to high heaven, but they've worked very well for me!

supposedly mickys dont like peppermint.. i have thought about using a spray, with peppermint oil. moth balls, i think are based on naphtha. {thanks Wilson}, only something to add to moth balls, they are so tiny.. the ex, sister-in-law used to clean, with bleach an ammonia at the same time. apperentlty it didnt bother her.. she was on pain pills.. an maybe from another dimension, as well.. sometimes, i try an think, what dimension, can hold such evil.. :)

Your welcome ted, and your correct! Mint works very well too, just have to apply it more often then moth balls... At least it smells better then moth balls.... Lol! Since you brought up pain pills .... My sister uses those, man! Do they mess her up, personally , I've never tried them, never will! I've done my best to try and get her to get off of them (no dice) so ... We don't talk much anymore, i agree! Those little bastards are plain evil!

Pardon me for going off topic a tad, but, drug abuse burns me up!

Same here! I have no use for that mess illegal, or not, I've lost many friends due to it.
