First off I'd like to say thanks for letting me join. I have a 03 Honda Rubicon 500FA been building it for the mud. I have a 2" highlifter lift kit and 28" Super Swamper EDLS but I'm kind of bogging in power and been looking for a solution. They say they dont have any gear reduction kits for them. Does anyone know a place that makes custom gear reductions or could point me in the right direction? The old bikes are running low on performance parts due to everyone wanting to keep up with the newer bikes.

Welcome to the forum. Unfortunately, as you've already found out, there are no GR for the Hondamatic machines. You're going to have to drop a tire size or two if you don't want it to bog out all the time.

Most of my friends who have Rubicons have 27" Mudbugs on them. They're a very light 27. If you want to run a heavy mudtire like an Outlaw or Silverback you'll have to drop to a 26.

Not what you want to hear, but nobody makes a GR for these bikes, and since they discontinued them in 2014, no one is going to make a GR for them. No future demand out there.
