when is the last time it ran? i have had bad luck with champion plugs. i got one at wallyworld. you would think once is enough. i did it 2 times.. 1 at wally, one at autozone. they did however work for a bit, then zonked out.
how brave are you? you could stick a screw driver into the boot, hold the screwdriver metal, put your other hand on the frame, have someone turn it over. :smile
i wont do it. bok, bok,, bok, bok. bok..

Only use NGK on a Honda.

That's funny that you mention that. When I was a kid my grandfather read about using shock treatment to neutralize the venom in a sting. I got hit on the back by a wasp so he took a plug wire off the plug and put a nail in it, then cranked up the old 1950 Willys Jeepster and touched the nail to the sting. Zapped the crap out of me, but I had no swelling or redness after he did it.

That said, getting zapped was worse than the normal effects of being stung, so that was a one-time deal. LOL

Thats funny Jeep. if it were a red wasp, it might be a draw, between a Whillys an a red wasp, tough call. i got stung in the back if the neck by a red wasp. at first, i thought some one hit me with a baseball bat. you can never tell about some wayward cousins. some bleach, drawed the fire right out of that sting. baking soda works too, mixed with just enough water, to make a paste.

Sorry we got off topic. LOL

After messing with a friend's 06 Rincon, the only thing I can say about them is I don't like working on them. If you have voltage at the coil I believe that eliminates a bad bank angle sensor. @Melatv might be able to help you more. He's the electrical guru here, but not sure how often he's on here.

Have you downloaded the factory service manual? I know it has troubleshooting instructions that walk you through diagnostics for no spark.

Wax, you say that both connectors on the ignition coil have 12 volts. That is an indication of where your problem lies because only one of those wires should show 12 volts while cranking with the starter. I don't have your wiring diagram, but on Hondas, a green wire is a ground wire, so locate the green wire on your coil. A reading of 12 volts on the green wire at the coil means that there is a break in the path of the green wire somewhere between the coil and the ground connection on the machine frame. Fix that break, and your machine will run. It might be a bad switch of some type, or could be a bad connection or broken wire.
