The next drag that Im entering is on August 7th. I have to be in the 0-450cc Improved class. I'm looking to do one more thing to my bike before the race. Give me some ideas, I've read that putting a 450 carb might help. Right now my 400ex is piped, jetted, stage one hot cam, 13 tooth front sprocket, Razr 2 tires, lower to the dround, and I have the air box lid removed. I'm willing to spend some money before the 7th but not to to much. I go to back to college at the end of august. Thanxz.

Use the racing rectifier(1 hp)and for racing you can use a much thinner gear oil(about 1 hp)then go after all the weight you can including yourself!don't eat much before the race and take a big dump!It works great for greyhounds!lol

You could grind down the weld in the head pipe. Get a aftermarket cdi. A Honda 350x atc cdi box has no rev limiter....
Just dont blow up the 400 lol. Personally I dont like messing with the cdi but it is a option.

Im gonna order a high performance cdi rev box tommorow. Hopefully it'll make the improvement that Im loking for.

Try some lighter tires. I know the razr 2s are kind of heavy.

I havent even put a mile on the razr 2s haha. I thought about goin with something lighter but i was looking more into hookin up at the line.

Go for lighter tires better oil and lessen the weight of the vehicle lastly racing cdi plus good filters.
