i have a honda 400 ex where is the coolant valve to check it and fill it

The 400EX is an air cooled machine. It does not require coolant. That is why the top portion of your motor has the fins on it. That is so the air can travel through the fins and cool the motor.

Yep, Red is correct, it's air cooled, it don't have coolant.

oil cooler, 400s are air cooled motors unless its custom but then there should be like 12in by 6in radiator in there
