So i decided why I'm down for surgery I'm going to strip my girl down to bare frame. I'm going to repaint my frame Honda red, my subframe is going to be a bright yellow along with my hubs. I will do my lower A-arms red and the upper arms will be yellow. I will keep all the plastics and wheels the same. My swingarm will be black. What do you guys think???

I will PC it. I don't want to spend that much time trying to make it look good only to rattle can it. I don't plan on doing this again for a long while so i want it to last.

LOL, sorry. I was actaully thinking of having it painted and cleared. What do you think would last longer, be more durable, and a better look?

That's what I was thinking, especially with all the rocks and such.

Powder coat is the most durable by far. As for the look it's all in the prep. work. You can get a really durable finish with an epoxy but it will have to be clear coated to keep the epoxy from chaulking. I personaly would use the epoxy and clear because of the savings. but a few years with epoxy and several years with powder coat could mean alot if you keep the quad a long time.

Powder coat can also be silkscreened over. But use 2 to 3 coats of powder clear over the image......just figured you could be real creative!

That would be good therapy after surgery, putting it back together, anyway.
