Howdy

I recently broke my brake and clutch lever off on my stock 400 (I rolled it).... I've been looking around at different aftermarket clutch and brake levers... I run the ASC on my 416 race bike, but I was wondering what you guys run and what are you opinions on different brands. Thanks in advance

I run an msr ez pull clutch lever. 20% easier pull and its noticeable on those long races or rides. I can pull it with my pointer finger only if i want. And i just run a stock brake lever. If i had unlimited resources i would run asv levers.

Did you have to buy a whole new cable, or is it just the lever?

Just the lever that comes with a new perch. It has 3 places to hook the cable. The middle is stock. The outer one is a harder pull for slipping the clutch when drag racing. And the inner one is a 20% easier pull. Its honestly a very basic idea and design. It just puts the cable in a spot where you have more mechanical advantage on it.

I love the ASV and I have never had a problem with them. Just looking around at something different.

Now does that same company make the ez pull brake levers?

I havent ever heard of an ez pull brake lever? I dont know why or how you would ever need one lol. The brake is hydrolic so its easy as pie as it is haha.

No I meant like. So they are matching lol. Like just the lever.

Oh i gotcha haha. I think they do have a msr lever that matches. I never cared enough haha. I just leave the stock one alone.

Haha had one of those for years. And used it regualarly. But nothing compared to the ez pull lever.

Lmao thats funny. I used one as I was driving so I could work out my wrist and fingers lol. Actually helps a lot

little late here and no ATV side experience, but I always ran the AVS levers on all my MX bikes, great products, and a decent investment if you plan to keep the bike a long time, worth the added costs IMO

Except the ones I used had a needle bearing in the lever. I remember that reducing the pull effort just a little bit.

I'm not a big fan of buying items off line if I'm looking for a specific part. I like to look at it before I buy it. I have a nice little ATV shop that the guy can order me anything and send it back if something is wrong.
