So I have a 99 foreman 400. I wondering if I have a problem with my clutch. When I first crank it up and ride, it runs great. When I nail the gas it has plenty of power. As I ride it longer and get it warm/hot it feel like It's not all there. Like I can put the front rack against a tree when it's cold and kick it and the tires turn over, do the same when it's cold and I get nothing. Any advice on what is going on with my atv would be greatly appreciated.

Sounds like it's a clutch issue, although I've haven't seen one start slipping after it gets hot. They usually slip all the time, but if it's slipping any time, the clutch would have to be bad. It's probably getting worse when the oil gets hot. What kind of oil are you using?

Well I have sunk this bike a few times and I think I put regular 10 30 motor oil in it the last time I changed it. So how hard is a clutch kit to install?
If the oil isn't designed for wet clutches, that's probably what caused the clutch to start slipping. It's not really hard to install clutches. The hardest part will be getting to the front cover to get it off.
