Hello neighbor,
Post a photo of your quad so we can figure out what city you live in, or least if you are in the north or the south. Also we can see what you are riding.
I live in Nevada and we travel up to the border all the time. Unfortunately, we can't cross in legally because, apparently, I need a certificate that I can properly issue ATV safety instructions to my son. And the ATV patrols are thick along the border, but never mind, you can come here unrestricted and there is just as much wide open space. Welcome to the forum.
