Hi again, how do you adjust the timing chain tensioner on a 1991 trx 350 ( same as (89 trx 350 foreman) the manual does not describe it well. Thanks Eric

helmut..i think we ran across this '91 trx350 the other day..and they never sold any of these in the states..not that i know of..lol..anyway..if your timming chain is to far stretched..messing with the chain adjuster wont solve your problem..not if your hearing a ticking from it anyway...if your chain is to far gone..so to speak..you can fix it the right way...buy a new one..orrrrr..you can give it a temp fix...the ******* way..lol..pull the tensioner out..tap a 10 mm socket onto the end of the plunger..or..you can take a piece of flat tin..or metal..cut it wide enough to go in the hole...bend it back around the plunger..crimp it real good..then..use the screwdriver to pull the plunger back..install it in the cylinder..start your bolts..try to get them as tight as posb..then take the screw driver out..finish tightening the bolts..crank it up..see how it does.

Yeah, I remember the '91 TRX350.
i looked it up from the honda dealer websight..on fich..and they stoped making the trx350 in 89..not until 2000 did they come back out with the new 350's.
