Dang. To my eye it would appear you are going to need to remove about 4 links. Grind the end of the pins off and pop the plate loose with a flat tip screw driver. Then pop your master link in adjust the tension and your good to go.

Hey slammebed will this type chain brake work ? I've used one just like this on all kinds of roller chain (hay roller) etc .... Just tossing in :)

I have never had luck with chain breakers. The grinder wheel takes about 5 minutes longer but works everytime. I dont know if i buy to high quality of chains or what? But they always end up falling apart on the second attempt.
