Don't walk, RUN to your computer, get on EBAY, and BUY a CCP Stabilizer for your 400EX. It is AMAZING! We live on land that is NOT manicured. In fact, it is downright ROUGH. This CCP Stabilizer smooths it out like it is barely bumpy. I used to have to hang onto the bars with a death grip. Now, I can ride at the same or faster speeds while barely holding the bars. I am NOT kidding! I could go on, but you get the idea!

Considered fitting a stabilizer/damper to my 300.. I ride mostly at ATV parks and occasionally get the bars ripped out of my hands when I'm in ruts etc.
Do they actually work that we'll do you think?

We need some installed pictures. And info on installation, did you have to do anything to the brake lines? As I recall reading about the 700xx install, you have to remove the brake line mount or grind it down. I don't really remember but that's why I never purchased one. I have the precision anti vibe bar mounts on my Reaper quad. Adding the stabilizer would make it ride like a Cadillac, along with the Elka suspension. I think I may have to invest in at least one this upcoming tax year.

I bought it off ebay brand new from this seller: custom-cnc-parts
I believe he is the original designer/seller. Ebay says he is in Detroit Lakes, Minnesota.
Email him through ebay and see if he has more.

I can't say enough good about it. I definitely think it would help in ruts.
I did not have to do anything with brake lines. It was an extremely simple bolt-on install.

Got one! Thanks for the heads up! Cant wait to try it out. I ride some pretty rough trails. And we will see how/if it helps on an mx track!
