i have a 2001 honda forman trx 450s will it start one year go . the was taken off by my kid in the winter will it not work right so few week go i took it to have it rebuild at a honda dealer put it back on it start draining the gas out of the overflow tube it will not stop so order a new one will it did the same thing the new one the float will not shut off the gas at all and not sure about how to tune the carb in and yes i put a inline fuel filter in can some tell how to fix the thing HELP HELP HELP:angry:

you ordered a new carb ?..or carb rebuild kit ?..sounds like the guy who rebuilt your carb didn't put it back together with the right jets..float needle..or your float needle has some trash stuck in the needle opening..take the carb back off.take your float needle off..take all your jets out..and with some carb spray cleaner..spray this on and in all your jets..openings..and make sure you remove your carb to intake o-ring before you spray your carb down with the cleaner...after you get all that done..with some comressed air..blow out all the openeings in your carb..put it back together..see if your fuel keeps flowing out the over flow tube..if it does..then you probally need to rebuild the carb with a new carb kit.

^^^^^^^Agreed. I would say whoever cleaned or rebuilt it didn't get it real clean.

There is only two things that can cause that. needle is not seating correctly or the float is stuck. Even a new carb can have trash in it because of the milling and cleaning process.
will found out what it was took it to be work on 30min after i got home the shop call and told me that the float was in 2 pcs. so put a new one in now it run like you know it nice to have it back on the road i used my atv to move saw log now i got to put my fork lift back on i got logs comeing and comeing none stop you know went i frist got my atv i was told that i could not move saw logs with it it could not be done show then got a atv log skidder move logs 20foot long and 17 to 20in big i own a sawmill the forklift that i put on my honda go on the rear i got to say that honda 450 s is a hard working tool in harlan ky. later
