Welcome to the forums! I agree with Sam. Seen 100s of accounts of chinese carbs not working at all. I have personally seen 2 and both ended up in the scrap metal pile. Save yourself the headache and get oem. Or clean and rebuild the original one. My .02
carburetor cap
I bought a new carburetor for my 02 trx250ex and it the carburetor cap is has a wider diameter than the original. I can't figure out for the life of me how to remove the old carburetor cap from the throttle cable.

Quick google search says yes. That is a china knock-off keihin carb.
