Hi folks I have a 2005 Honda Rancher 400 AT. I was wondering if I got a bigger carburetor would improve my performance and if so has anyone ever put one on theirs. And also does different spark plugs give you better performance? I'd appreciate any information thank you in advance.

Hello, welcome to the forums!

A bigger carb on a stock motor is wasteful and results in poorer performance in most cases. As for spark plugs... buy NGK. You can spend more for longer lasting exotics if you wish.

Please start only one thread per issue. Multiple threads confuse people and help doesn't arrive any sooner for you. I deleted your duplicate for you. Thanks.

I just traded an 04 AT on a new rancher. I put an aftermarket pipe, k&n air filter and a bigger jet in the carb,it really boosted the performance on the 04. I also put in an E3 spark plugs, didn't see any improvement with it.
