Wow, first of all let me say, cleaning a metal tank is a real PITA! I used the wood screws and shook till I couldn't sake anymore, dumped out the dirty old rusty gas, then flushed it with water. Then I had a problem.. can't get the wood screws out! :icon_ cry: Finally went fishing with a magnet for about an hour and a half got them all and a bunch of chunks of crap. Flush tank again. Removed as much water as I could and let it try blowing it out with the compressor now and again. Proceeded to the petcock. What a plugged up mess! got it all cleaned up and moved to the carb. Everying was red and rusty I can't believe it even ran. Cleaned it up nice put in the new bigger jet. Adjusted the valves and put new o-rings on the covers while I had it apart. Added inline filter. Put it all back together and IT STARTED! :icon_ rocker: Purred like a kitten, never heard it idle so smooth. Let it warm up for a while and took it out, throttle response is 110% better, power is about the same  Kinda figured it would pep up a little more but then the more I rode it the better it got, its got quite a bit more snap now the jet seemed to help in the top end also but I can't really read my plug until I get the new ones. BTW, to tell you how much rust it had been burning, when I took the plug out to check it, it was RED!! All the gas I drained out was red, I think a plastic tank is looking better and better all the time.
Anyway, mission complete and so far pleased with results. Thanks to everyone here for help and advice.. I'm off to ride! LATER! :icon_gd:
