found a 27mm carb that says it fits 01-up trx250ex.stock is 22mm would the 27mm if it works be too big even after adding the exhaust?

I doubt it will be too big all you would have to do is rejet it.

Agree, you could make a 4 barrel carb out of a hemi work if you can get it jetted correctly.

thats what i was hoping i could do.i plan on adding a cam and that powroll kit it the near future.would this be big enough because they have a 30mm also.

Should be fine.It's alot over stock already.With being larger bore you have more air flow meaning more fuel and more power.
