Does anyone use these carburetor brush and wire cleaner kits?

I found a bunch of very small brushes on fleabay and amazoonion under “acarte carb jet cleaner”

They offer a 15 piece kit and 30 piece kits. Wanted to but the most useful kit.

I got both of those rings of brushes , have never used it on a carb yet , I did use one this week to clean of a wire plug , I never bought them for carbs , I didn't really even know what they were for , seen them at a flea market and picked them up

Yep, I’ve got a few sets because they don’t last long, mainly because you end up using them for other jobs. As fish said, there also perfect for cleaning corrosion and dirt from plugs etc. Definitely a worthy purchase IMO

which it more important, the brushes, or the wire? i can find plenty nuff sizes of wire, even striped the paper of bread ties, cause i needed a thin wire. how handy are the brushes?

I am going to have to take a pic of a really cool tool set that was my grandfather's , it is a brass tube about 1+ inch around and 6 inches long , inside are rods of every size down to the thinest stand , there are multiples of every size and must be a hundred plus pieces in it , have used it many times , perfect for a clogged up carb passage --- I have never seen another set like this

Are they nozzle files for cutting torches? I’ve got a few sets of those and they’re brilliant for the job as you say. Mine have about 50 sizes though, nowhere near the amount you have
