I'm not too familiar with the choke setup on the sport quads, either. Moose would probably know more about those.

I don't think you would have needed to remove the choke parts on that carb to clean it. Just the slide, carb bowl, jets, and float needle would have been all that you would have needed to remove to clean it.

I've actually removed mine on my '85 250 four trax, if you post a picture of what you have ,I might be able to tell you how to put it back together. Mines not a quad ,but it maybe simular in carb design,just not sure. posting pictures will help someone help your problem. lol
