I have 2001 foreman rubicon hondamatic, txr500fa. It gave me a code 5 “motor lock” I have reverse and drive. When in drive it won’t shift out of first. I changed the angle shift sensor and no change. The same day it stopped shifting, my positive wire from the battery to the winch, ended up falling onto the muffler and melted through the coating. I could only assume it had to of grounded out. Can anyone give me ideas what to check. Any input, any ideas will be greatly appreciated.
