Finally got to really hammer my "Z"( Z400) today, and It felt awesome. Although Its not a Honda, I'm sure you sport quad guys can appreiciate just being able to rip around on the "race bikes". Especially after I have been beating on my Rincon all fall and winter like it was a sport quad. The "Z" had just been collecting dust all winter because it needed a new cam chain, and I was thinking about selling it because I had the Rincon now and didn't really need 2 quads, right? Well, I was wrong. The Rinny can take some abuse, but it just wouldn't be able to last all year with my riding style. So I decided to keep the 400 and put a new cam chain in it. It felt so good rip long wheelies and rail corners and hit jumps, I can't believe I though about selling it in the first place. After 6 years of beating on the Z it still holds up, except the timing chain ofcourse, and thats all it needed to breath fire once again. Anywho, I was just pumped to ride today and thought I would share it with everyone.

You don't want to see the sport quad, was going to sell my TRX450ER but i came to my senses its just to much FUN!!! my 700 Grizzly sits and collects dust cause i ride the 450 all the time.

Which quad to ride for me usually depends on who I'm riding with and where we're going. If we're gonna go find some mud, then the Z will have to stay home.

my buddy just got a 05 z400 couple months ago and i gotta tell ya i was surprised at its performance,very nice machine,this thing looks brand new and he only paid like 2300

The z will hold with a 450 till like 3rd gear.Thats damb good for a 400.

I accually bought them off e-bay, and they were supposedly from a KFX400. I'm not sure of the brand, they might have been add-ons from Kawasaki.

The LT-Z400, KFX400, and the DVX400 are identical, other than plastic. They are known as the clones.
